Pumpkin Picking Aug 2021

Pumpkin Picking starts Sunday Sept. 19 – from 11am to 4pm and every Saturday & Sunday – Sept 25/26, Oct 2/3, Oct 9/10, Oct 16/17, Oct 23/24, Oct 30/31 – Weekends for Our Big Pumpkin Celebration known as Farmtoberfest.  Admission is $10 per person & 3 and under are free (gives you access to all activities on 27 acres of play area).  Pumpkins, Fall Decore, Food & Drinks are an added cost. Fall Decor pricing as follows: Pumpkin $1 to $10 depending on size, Strawbales $6, Corn Shocks $6, Ornamental Corn Bundles $4, Squash $3 and Gourds 2 for $1.   We will be paying tribute to our Ole Barn all Fall.  On a sad & sentimental note our Treasured Rustic Family Barn & Silo will be coming down after Farmtoberfest.  Make sure you stop in for a visit this Fall and take some family pics with the rustic Barn in the backdrop & draw on the Graffiti Silo one last time.  Take home a piece of Porter Patch History, receive an authenticated slab of the Ole Barn, with a paid admission to Farmtoberfest (we ask that you take only 1 per family or couple).  Will you get lost in our 8 acre Corn Maze, which is Memories of the Ole Barn, find all ten hidden gems of stories & memories of the past. Come and spend the day and search the Patch for that perfect pumpkin you have been dreaming of all year, enjoy a scenic relaxing Wagon Hayride on the Porter Patch Pumpkin Express, make your very own Scarecrow, paint a pumpkin, try your aim at the Corn Cob Chuck, jump in the Rat Racers, hang out in the Craft Shed, visit our Barn Yard Buddies, tug o’ war, pumpkin bowling, old fashion water pump races, gunny sack races, log walk, round bale play, fall bouquet making, pumpkin twister, pumpkin toss, pumpkin tic tac toe, pumpkin checkers, pig skin toss, pumpkin ring toss, Bud’s building block bonanza, pumpkin ball, antler sling, 3 point pumpkinland, Graffiti Silo and so much more.  Food on the grounds from El Agave Mexican Grill & Cantina.  We hope to see you all this Fall and experience the Barn one last time and share in all the Ole Barn memories and stories from years past.

Blueberry Picking Ju;y 2021

The 2021 PickYour Own Blueberry Season has ended.  U-Pick Blueberries ($5 per pint or $40 per pail-heaped holds a tad more than 9 pints).  We start with having a Wednesday & Saturday Dates from 9am to 1pm weather permitting (keep in mind Wednesdays & Saturdays can change in a heartbeat due to weather conditions as in very hot or rainy/stormy weather, unripe berries).  What we mean is U-Pick can change to a Thursday or Sunday or cancelled due to weather conditions or availability of blueberries).

Farm Store Open Daily Noon to 4pm with the following

Pre-Picked Blueberries…..$6 per pint 

Tomatoes…..$1 each…..1/2 bushel $25 or full bushel $40

Cucumber Slicers reg/burpless…….$1 each

Green Peppers….$2 each

Maple Syrup….$8 per pint/$15 per quart

Relish/Sweet n Spicy Pickles….$5 each

Yellow, Purple Beans….$5 per #

Pickling Cucumbers…..$2.50 per #(1/2 bushel = 20#)

Strawberry Picking April 2021

Hello Strawberry Picking Enthusiasts!

2021 Pick Your Own Strawberries & Peas begin Tuesday June 15 at 8am…….Pre-Picked Strawberries & Peas Start Friday June 11th.  We have entered the spring season at the Farm.  The warmer temps feel so good on the soul and the Farm.  Our Fresh Picked Asparagus & Lettuce availability is just around the corner.  We just need to wait till around beg-May for these fresh goodies.  We have begun the planting process for getting everything in the ground.  A few of the fields have been worked up, soon seeds and plants will be in the ground and start to flourish at the Farm.  Anticipation about strawberry picking starts to ramp up this time of the year and only builds till they are ready for the picking.  Strawberry picking at the Farm usually starts about mid-June and only last 2 to 3 weeks.  Fresh Peas (edible pods and garden shucking types) will also be available for picking around the Strawberry season, along with pre picked peas.  We offer both pre picked and pick your own strawberries during our season.  Strawberries are sold by the pail or box for pick your own.  We Pick Strawberries are sold by the Quart or 8 quart Box.  The fields for the u pick strawberries have easy access from your vehicle, you park right next to the field you are picking in, can’t get any easier than that.  The Strawberry Picking Farm is located, only 20 minutes from Green Bay, a short distant from the Fox Valley, 30 minutes for Strawberry Picking Appleton area, 18 miles from Clintonville, and a very short drive from Hortonville, Suamico, and Neenah areas.

Strawberry Picking Jan 2021

Hello Strawberry Picking Guru’s!

Our Asparagus Countdown to fresh picked tender stalks is well under way, we just need to wait till around mid-May.  Fresh Lettuce will also be available that is grown in our high tunnel and maybe some farm fresh Spinach.  We all just need to be a bit patient yet.  Soon the Farm will come alive, the frost will be out, frogs and birds will be back and planting season will arrive.  All kinds of seeds and plants waiting to sprout, grow and thrive.  This time of the year is very special for a farmer as planting season starts the whole process of the growing season.  It’s like magic for us at the Farm and we can’t wait!

Pumpkin Picking Green Bay Wisconsin Oct 2020

We specialize in growing memories and harvesting traditions.  Stop on out to the Farm for a visit and gather up some your very own cherished memories for you and your family.  Pumpkin Picking Green Bay Wisconsin is going on right now, you just need to search the Patch for that perfect Pumpkin you have been dreaming of the whole year.

  • FARMTOBERFEST- runs every weekend on Saturday & Sunday 11am to 4pm thru November 1…..Admission $10 each per person (admission gives you access to all events).  2 and under are free.  We will be spread out among 26 acres to give plenty of room for everyone.  Fall decor and any Pumpkins & food/beverage are sold separately and would be an added cost.  Also if just needing fall décor as in pumpkins or other fall decorations, you do not need to pay the $10 admission fee, as we will have a display area before the entrance to the Farmtoberfest area.

Fall Decor…..40+ varieties of Pumpkins ($1 to $10), Gourds (2 for $1), Squash ($3) (white, blue, pink, orange, red, warty, humongous, huge, large, medium, small, minis, oblong, round, we think you get the picture) Mums ($15/$20), Straw Bales ($6), Colored Corn Bundles ($4), Corn Shocks ($6)

Pumpkin Patches Appleton WI Aug 2020

Excitement is building at the Farm!  We are beginning our annual transformation of painting the Farm orange for Farmtoberfest.  Pumpkins in the patch are starting to turn orange too.  The Corn Maze is all cut and a waits its first Farm Guest of the fall season.  We are soooo excited to hear all the laughter and giggles that comes with Farmtoberfest at the Farm.  Pumpkin Patches Appleton WI will soon come alive with excitement.  Don’t forget to take a bunch of pictures while here…..plenty of photo opportunities all over the Farm.  Bring you hungry bellies and fill them at El Agave Mexican Grill!  Awesome food and awesome folks!  Don’t forget to check out the Craft Shed and make your very own Scare Crow for the front porch or how about painting a pumpkin.  You can even make a fall bouquet to get you in the fall spirit.  Oohhh Ya!  What about taking a hayride aboard the Porter Patch Pumpkin Express.  Also a big hit at the Farm are the Rat Racers…..try not to get dizzy.  Will you get lost in our Corn Maise?  Can you launch a corn cob the length of a football field?  We bet you can over at the Corn Cob Chuck.  And please don’t forget about the graffiti silo…..make your very own personal statement.  Of course do not forget about searching for that perfect pumpkin you have been dreaming about all year.  And there is so much much more at Farmtoberfest.  Oops, we almost forgot to give a plug to our Barn Yard Buddies in the petting zoo, a must visit!

Sorry our 2020 Strawberry Season is finished for this year

Due to Covid-19 be advised we have many changes taking place from a “normal” strawberry season.

  • We provide boxes or pails to pick in (only take what you plan to pick)
  • You will be required to carry your berries to your vehicle
  • No white box carriers will be available
  • No orders will be taken
  • No produce will be on display for you to touch
  • All Peas, Beans, Asparagus will be pre-bagged
  • No signature required on credit or debit card transaction
  • Might be wait times for pickups or for getting a row to pick your own
  • Parking areas located at the fields where picking
  • We require social distancing, a mask is not required but do recommend
  • Wash sinks will be located around the farm
  • We will be cleaning & sanitizing to make the farm safe for our Farm Guests
  • Please be kind, flexible, patient and understanding
Hours will be 8am to 5pm Daily – weather permitting and availability of berries once the season begins

Our Pre-Picked Strawberries & Peas will be available approx. June 17th


  • Pricing on Pre-Picked Strawberries are $5.75 per Quart or $46 per box


  • Pre-Picked Sugar Ann Snap Peas are $5 per pound


  • We will offer curbside pickup – just honk horn when you drive up to sales counter

The Pick Your Own fields will be opening sometime the week of the 22nd

  • Pricing on PYO is $27 per box or $12 per pail – we do not require you to bring berries up to sales counter, just keep in vehicle and just let us know what you picked

Strawberries coming soon!

We are all so excited at the Farm as our Strawberry Season is almost upon us.  We can’t wait to see all our friendly farm guest again!  As you know due to the Covi-19 Pandemic, we will be doing business a lot different this coming season.  When we 1st open, it will only be for Pre-picked Strawberries ONLY for about the first 4 to 6 days of the season before we open the Pick Your Own Fields.  We will also offer curb side pickup, just honk your horn and we will be right out, it’s just that simple.  We will need you to follow the social distancing, we will not require you to wear a mask to enter the farm, but do recommend it.  Our staff will not be required to wear a mask, but some may be.  We will make our Farm as safe as possible for you and your family and our staff with cleaning and sanitizing.

Be prepared to carry your berries back to your vehicle, however when paying for them at checkout just leave in your vehicle and just let us know what you picked.  We will not be using the white carriers this year.  We are still defining our plan and tweaking and don’t be surprised with daily changes happening as we navigate through these major changes.

We just ask that you all be flexible, patient and kind to all our changes, as this is no way a normal season, nor anything normal how we would operate our business.  Be prepared for wait times due to all the changes.  Let’s all make this a great Strawberry season even under these changing and unpredictable, uncertain times.  Soon we will all be enjoying some yummy, sweet, juicy, delicious Strawberries berry berry soon!

Strawberry Picking Bonduel WI May 2020

Hello Friends of the Farm!

Here’s what’s on tap for the opening of the Farm Store.  Fresh Asparagus $5 per pound, Assorted Lettuce at $3 per bag, Radishes $2 per bunch, and limited baby Spinach for $3 per container.  Our procedures have changed a bit due to the Covid – 19 Pandemic.  We are taking orders and we will call you for a scheduled pick up between the hours of Noon and 4pm Daily.  This will hopefully keep the congestion down to a minimum.  We still accept cash, check or credit/debit.  We will be practicing social distancing.  We will be cleaning and sanitizing daily for all of our safety.  We will in our best effort make our Farm as safe as possible for you when stopping for some fresh picked produce or berries.  For any reason you are not comfortable with getting out of your car just honk horn when you pull up and we will gladly bring your order right to you.  We ask that you be flexible as these changes are all new to us in how we doing business as in the past and we will be adjusting to all the new protocol’s set in place.

Our Strawberry & Pea Picking Adventures look to be on schedule for starting around the 3rd week in June.  Just stay tuned.  We will have 3 types of peas for you, our edible Sugar Ann Peas and traditional Shucking Peas, also new this year we put in some Snow Peas, which are the flat ones.  We can’t wait for those sweet juicy yummy strawberries and all those smiling faces.  Stop on out to the Farm for Strawberry Picking Bonduel WI.

Hello Friends of the Farm!

Our Fresh Tender Asparagus Countdown is well under way, only 11 weeks left.  We will have yummy Asparagus available the beginning of May at the Farm Store.  Fresh Lettuce will also be available that is grown in our high tunnel and maybe some Spinach.  We all just need to be a bit patient yet.  Soon the Farm will come alive, the frost will be out, frogs and birds will be back and planting season will arrive.  All kinds of seeds and plants waiting to sprout and grow, the magical kingdom of our Farm will start to thrive again.  We just can’t wait!

Are you Thinking Strawberries yet?  We hope so, as it will be here before you know it.  Strawberry picking at the Farm usually starts about mid-June and only last 2 to 3 weeks.  Fresh Peas (edible pods and garden shucking types) will also be available for picking around the Strawberry season, along with pre picked peas.  We offer both pre picked and pick your own strawberries during our season.  Strawberries are sold by the pail or box you pick.  We Pick Strawberries are sold by the Quart, Pail or Box.  The fields for the u pick strawberries have easy access from your vehicle, you park right next to the field you are picking in, can’t get any easier than that.  The Strawberry Farm is located a short distant from the Fox Valley, only 20 minutes from Green Bay, 25 minutes for Strawberry Picking Appleton area, 18 miles from Clintonville, and a very short drive from Neenah, Hortonville and Suamico areas.

March 13 – Farms 107th year in the family

Beginning of May – Opening of the Farm Store with Fresh Picked Asparagus & Lettuce

Middle of June – Pick Your Own Strawberry Adventures & Pre-Picked Strawberries                                                                                            U-Pick & Already Picked Fresh Peas, Green Beans, Cucumbers, Lettuce

Mid July – We Pick Sweet Raspberries, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Pickling Cucumbers, Green Beans and Green Peppers

Late July – Blueberry Picking, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Pickling Cucumbers

Closed Aug 1st – Private Wedding

Mid-September-End Oct – Our Farmtoberfest celebration begins, search the Patch for that perfect pumpkin you have been dreaming of all year, try your luck in our Corn Maze, and enjoy a scenic relaxing Hayride on the Porter Patch Pumpkin Express, make your very own Scarecrow, paint a pumpkin, try your aim at the Corn Cob Chuck and so much more.  Plenty of fall decor and varieties of Squash available too.
